This is my grandma authentic recipe. I usually made one ciambellone per week , because kids love to have a sweet breakfast every morning, especially when I add nutella on top! When I bake my Ciambellone , the whole house smells like vaniglia for hours.

Mix eggs and sugar

Preheat oven to 180*. Grease a 24 cm round bundt tin.
Place eggs and sugar in bowl and whisk them in a stand mixer for 5 minutes, until you obtain a frothy consistency.

Add all ingredients

Add milk, olive oil and grated lemon mix well the ingredients.
Sift flour and one yeast bag together in the bowl ( I recommend Pane Angeli ). When everything is well combined pour into prepared tin.
Bake your Ciambellone for about 45 minutes.
Cool down and sprinkle with icing sugar.
