1/2 onion onions
200g mozzarella cheese
150g parmigiano reggiano
2 spoons olive oil
6 leaves basil
1 pinch salt

This is my son favorite plate. Every kids love gnocchi because they are soft and tasty . The gnocchi alla Sorrentina is a typical plate from Napoli.

Tomato sauce

Cook the chopped onion with oil in a casserole dish. When the onion is gold add tomato sauce and salt, stir well and simmer for 15 min. In the end add fresh basil.

Gnocchi in the oven

Meanwhile the tomato sauce simmer , cook gnocchi in a saucepan of boiling water. Gnocchi are cook when they come out of the water. Using a colander , drain gnocchi and pour directly in the casserole with the tomato sauce and stir well. Add mozzarella and parmigiano , stir well and bake for 10 minutes to 250 .
