These Milk Sandwiches are a dream… perfect with salty and sweet!

They were often my snack for school time or a surprise for spring picnics with my friends

They are soft and tasty, you can even make them smaller for an aperitif, like small panini for finger food!

Imagine a beautiful spring sunset a glass of spumante and small sandwiches with prosciutto and mozzarella or with salmon, Philadelphia cheese and lettuce … amazing!

Steps

Done

Pour 500 gr of flour and sugar in a bowl for a stand mixer.
Melt butter and cool down a bit. Melt dry yeast with milk then pour the mixture into the bowl with flour, sugar and mix. Add melted butter and mix well. When everything is well amalgamated add salt, previously melted in a little bit of water.
If the dough is too sticky you can add the last 20 gr of flour. Mix well and pour the dough on a bench, knead a bit.
Cover and let it rise for 2 hours.
After two hours you can divide the dough into 4 equal parts.
Divide each part into 3 little snakes and make a braid.
Place your braids into the tray with baking paper. Sprinkle with flour.
Let them rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake for 13/15 minutes to 200 degrees.
