I love speck… it is the flavor par excellence that takes me back to the snowy mountains… when for the holidays of. We all went skiing together! I love speck with  everything, even wrapped in puff pastry with zucchini and cheese!

First preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Wash and grate a zucchini, then pour it into a pan with oil, salt and pepper and let it cook for 2/3 minutes.
While you line a tray with baking paper and spread the two sheets of puff pastry on a floured surface. In one of the two sheets get a star with a cutter. When zucchini are warm spread them on the pastry, then it will be time for the sliced cheese and finally the speck. Now roll up and cut the swivels of about 2 cm each.
Start placing 5 swivels in line on your tray, then 4,3,2, 1 and finally the star. Brush your tree with beaten egg and bake at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
When it's ready, decorate your tree with red and green onions or if you can't find them at the supermarket you can decorate your tree with sage and pomegranate leaves.

Enjoy with your friends and a glass of Prosecco!
