    These day of quarantine, we spend more time at home and eat more but move less. I am trying recipes with less sugar and more proteins. It is an moment for everyone, try to spend this precious time with your family to bake delicious cake like this Chia seeds cake.

     

     

    Chia seeds are often referred to as a “superfood”or functional food. They are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, rich in antioxidants, and they provide fibre, iron and calcium.

    Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
    Flour and butter a round cake tin.
    Beat the egg whites until stiff. Add milk and oil, yeast and slowly flour, without overstepping the mixer, but decreasing the speed. In the end add Chia seeds.
    Pour your dough into the tin and bake for 50 minutes.
    Let cool down and sprinkle with icing sugar.
    Enjoy with no guilt!
