One of the first cakes I made by myself during my childhood.

The recipe was on all the bags of Pane Angeli yeast... easy to make!

 

 

Simple and perfect for a cup of tea, to be enjoyed with friends or alone with a coffe!

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Work butter into a cream and gradually add sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Sifted flour and potato starch and add into the mixture.
Finally add Pane angeli yeast.
Put the dough in a opening circle mold (diameter 24 cm) with the bottom lined with baking paper.
Bake for 45 minutes .

Sprinkle the cooled cake with a lot of icing sugar.
Enjoy!
